First-Generation Founder of the Fu Family Enterprise

FUH Ho-Yen is a visionary expert in business management and an educator renowned for his dedication and contributions to Taiwan’s small and medium-sized enterprises. Graduating from the Department of Economics at National Taiwan University, FUH devoted his early career to both academia and industry, gaining a wealth of practical experience and theoretical knowledge. In 1977, while teaching in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Chung Yuan Christian University, he founded Future Career Management Corporation (FCMC), guided by the belief that “The future of our nation, society, and industry is our own future.” He was committed to introducing modern management knowledge and practices to Taiwan’s SMEs, focusing on consulting, seminars, and publishing.

Leveraging his senior management experience and partnerships with scholars and industry experts, FUH Ho-Yen provided consulting and training to nearly 2,000 companies and nurtured a significant number of management talents. His publishing achievements were also remarkable, with nearly a hundred books on management practices gaining high recognition in the field.

In 1990, FUH noticed the limited use of native-language textbooks in Taiwan’s higher education system, concerned that this might hinder the transmission of business management knowledge and local talent development. In response, he launched the “Localization of Business Management Textbooks Program.” He actively collaborated with renowned scholars to write new textbooks and introduced high-quality books from the United States and Japan, providing invaluable resources to Taiwan’s management education and leaving a profound impact on its educational system.
